Girl Online ♡

I am a bit of a book worm but out of all of the books I have read Girl Online is defiantly in the Top 5 along side The Hunger Games, a tough series to follow, but I think Zoe did it for me!

Girl Online was at times slightly unrealistic and cliché but what made me fall in love with Zoe's writing was how unpredictable it was and the twist at the end was genius work! I love how the book hooks you from the beginning and how much you become a part of the novel and how you wish you had someone like Elliot, or Tom or more so, Noah!

But what stood out for me the most was the message Zoe portrayed throughout the book; how you can find hope when you think everything is lost and the messages Penny sends through her blog posts and I feel we should take in those messages and do something about them (example; hate on the Internet) rather than just letting them go over out heads.

I feel the media has defiantly got the wrong idea over this book and it certainly deserved to earn that many sales in one week but it certainly didn't deserve the hate from the media and neither did Zoe.

I believe Zoe did write Girl Online but that is just my personal opinion.

Girl Online was an inspiration to me and I don't usually get that feeling from a book.

Proud is an understatement. I love you Zoella. <33

Kiko Haul ♡

So a couple of weeks ago I went to Reading to visit my cousin and we did a bit of shopping in the town centre. We attempted to find a bargain in the sales but we had no luck so after a lovely lunch at Jamie's Italian I spotted a Kiko. This made me very excited as I had heard so many good things about their cosmetics but never had a chance to go in a spend some money.

If you ever see a Kiko, don't be deceived by its fancy, high-end M.A.C looks because it is actually the quality of that but money-wise, it has prices like L'Oreal and Revlon.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been trying out the two products I bought and so far I am going head of heals for them and wish I brought more stuff to try out!

Firstly can I say the packaging of this product is stunning, very vintage which I adore. I was lucky to find this Top Pairs Blush Duo on the sale stand for £7.95 (originally was £15.49)! I thought the sleek blushers had high pigmentation with good colour pay off but this totally beats that. The two shades 'Rasberry Rose' and 'Peach' really compliments my light/tanned skin tone. I much prefer the right side colour because of the sun-kissed bronze glow without being too orangey toned. If you have darker skin they do offer darker more bronze tones if you are interested in that. I highly recommend any Kiko blush products if you come across them because the quality is amazing and at a very good price!

And lastly I brought the product that Kiko are know for, their Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks. Apparently they are a dupe for the By Terry Ombre Star Shadow Sticks but as I do not have the money to invest in a cream eye shadow worth £29 I cannot compare them but I honestly believe you do not have to spend that price if you own the Kiko dupe (unless you like the fancy gold packaging!) As you can see by the swatch here the colour I purchased was a red-brown colour, very similar to the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate but I prefer this because of the more neutral tones it gives. What i can't get over is how long it lasts. As soon as you put it on to your lids it gives for a minute or two while you blend the colour out but then it will not budge. When I swatched this on my hand for my most recent video I honestly could not remove it when washing my hands or even when I was in the shower. My Garnier Miceller water struggled but in the end it eventually budged!

As you can see I am RAVING about these products, if I ever went to Kiko again I would probably invest in their brow products or single eyeshadows because I have heard many good things about them!

Catch you soon with a new post <33

Hello Internet ♡

Hello, and welcome to my new(ish) blog. I started my little space on the Internet nearly a year ago now but by May/June 2014 I slacked off just a tiny bit... For the past month I have been ooing and ahhing whether to restart my blog. I got a lot of inspiration reading Zoe Sugg's new novel Girl Online where the protagonist Penny runs her own little blog, and I loved the way she wrote her posts, this inspired me to start again (so thanks Zoe!)

Hopefully this blog will go to plan and I can be active enough to my readers (1 post a week *crosses fingers*) and in my blog I am hoping to include the following:
-Reviews
-Experiences
-Questions you ask
-Recommendations
-Days out
-And anything else you would want!

As this blog hopefully is going to be based on beauty - which is my obsession (hence my blog name) - I will be doing mini hauls and other beauty related things as that is what I enjoy but if you really would like something else I am open to experimenting! I also really love photography so my posts will be full of pictures and photos (because to be honest people look at the photos more than the words!)

And thank you very much to any readers that have stayed with me (if any) and welcome all the new readers who have followed me on Bloglovin'. I also have deleted all my other posts to start fresh this year!

I also have a YouTube channel if anyone is interested which is something else I started in June so I guess that's why my blog got a bit left behind. And of course, I have Twitter, Instagram etc so you can go and follow me there and all the links are on the 'Find Me' page.

Thanks for reading and HAPPY NEW YEAR AND BEST WISHES FOR 2015!
